Preparation methods

Main

FRY AND OVEN

180°C - FRY 3-4 mins; OVEN 15-30 mins. Rare 15-20 mins; Medium 20-25 mins; Well Done 30+ mins - - Oven 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4

Remove all packaging including absorbent pad and allow to stand for 10 mins.

Remove sauce sachet and set aside.

Preheat oven.

Heat 1 tbsp (15ml) oil in frying pan.

Add joint and cook on a high heat to seal on all sides.

Transfer joint to a lined roasting tin.

Place roasting tin on middle shelf of oven.

After cooking, allow joint to rest for 10 mins.

Remove strings before carving and serving.

Hob Method

3-4 mins

Empty sauce sachet into a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until piping hot.

Do not reheat.

Suitable for freezing. For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, use immediately. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before use.
