Preparation methods

British free range turkey crown on the bone with an outdoor bred pork, chestnut, bacon and thyme stuffing, topped with oak and apple wood smoked bacon and garnished with a rosemary sprig

Oven Method

time shown on price weight label - Oven 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4

For best results, remove from fridge 1 hour before cooking.

Preheat oven.

Remove sleeve and film, but keep in foil tray.

Do not remove the ovenable pad.

Brush with butter.

Season with salt and pepper (optional).

Cover loosely with foil and place on a baking tray.

Cook for the time shown on the label.

Remove foil 15 mins before end of cooking to brown the turkey.

Baste occasionally with juices.

Ensure juices run clear and product is piping hot throughout.

Cover with foil and let rest for 30 mins before carving.

Pour over tray juices before serving.

Do not reheat.

Storage information

Suitable for freezing. For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly before cooking. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) eat within 24 hours. Do not refreeze after thawing. DEFROST - 48 hours - in a refrigerator
