FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Christmas Food to Order is our online Christmas food ordering service. Simply pre-order your Christmas and New Year food by 5pm on 15 December, ready to collect in store from 22 December for Christmas, or 30 December for New Year.
  • Christmas Food to Order collection is available from the majority of our UK stores, and is free of charge.
    To select your slot, simply click ‘choose collection time’ at the top right-hand corner of your screen. You can search for your preferred location by the name of the store or your postcode.
    Home delivery is not available.
    Certain times may become very busy, so remember to select you collection date and time as soon as possible in order to secure your preferred collection slot.
    The last order date for both Christmas (for collection on 22, 23 and 24 December) and New Year (for collection on 30 and 31 December) is 5pm on 15 December 2020.
    Alternatively, we’ll ask you to choose a collection date and time slot when you confirm the items in your basket. To see your basket, click ‘view basket’ at the top right-hand corner of your screen.
  • When you place your order, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable deposit of £40. When you collect your order instore, you will then pay the remaining balance of your order. Please refer to our T&Cs for full details.
  • Yes. To proceed to checkout secure your collection slot you’ll need to reach a minimum order value of £40. If separate orders are placed, a £40 minimum basket value will need to be met on all individual orders.
  • The prices and weights of our turkey are a guide only, and may be subject to change depending on the actual weight of your turkey upon collection.
  • No, we are not running an earlybird promotion this year.
  • We have reviewed which stores are able to offer Christmas Food to Order this year, which may mean a store you’ve previously collected from is now not available. Please enter your postcode in the ‘find your collection location’ section of the ‘Check collection slots’ page to view the closest stores from which you’re able to collect your order. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • Unless specified, products ordered for Christmas will stay fresh until at least Boxing Day, regardless of the day you collect them. Products ordered for New Year will stay fresh until at least 1 January 2021.
  • Yes, simply shop with M&S and Sparks through our app, on M&S.com or in-store and see good things happen every time you shop. There’s no need to collect points anymore – for more information on Sparks, please click here.
  • You can amend your Christmas and New Year food orders until 5pm on 10 December 2020 by calling our Contact Centre team on 0333 014 8222 between 9am-7pm, 7 days a week. Don’t forget, your deposit is non-refundable.
  • In the event of a second national lockdown, we will contact you via email if there are any changes on how you will need to collect your order in your chosen store. If you didn't provide an email when you ordered, don't worry – we’ll call you instead.
  • You’ll need to bring your order confirmation to collect your order – please either bring it on your phone or print it off. Don’t forget to bring some bags with you to take your festive feast home.
  • Our priority is to keep our customers and colleagues safe during these times, so rest assured that our stores will be following the most up to date government guidance. Our collection slots have been determined with social distancing in mind and we will ensure that the queuing system for our Christmas Food to Order service will keep everyone safe. We will continue to ensure store managers adhere to the capacity guidance, which they’ve been following throughout this period. It is very important that you arrive instore on the correct day and time slot to maintain social distancing.
  • In the unfortunate event of you having to self-isolate, please nominate a friend or family member to collect on your behalf. Please ensure that they bring your order confirmation number with them alongside bags for them to take your festive feast home.
  • You won’t be charged the full order amount, however the £40 deposit will remain non-refundable.
