Preparation methods

Oven Method

120 mins - Oven 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6

NEEDS COOKING

Remove all packaging.

Preheat oven.

Place sauce sachets to one side.

Place beef shin in a deep roasting tray and cover with foil.

Place tray in oven and cook for 1 hour 30 mins, basting regularly.

Remove foil and baste.

Return to oven uncovered for 30 mins.

Remove from oven, drain juices into a jug.

Add 4 tbsp of retained juices to sauce and heat.

Place Beef Shin on a chopping board and carefully remove bands.

Shred meat with 2 forks and pour bordelaise sauce over beef to serve.

Do not reheat.

Storage information

Suitable for freezing. For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, use immediately. This product may have been previously frozen and returned to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.
