Accessibility
Marks and Spencer is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of the technology our customers are using.
We have strived to ensure our website conforms to level AA compliance as specified by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people. In some cases the website provides enhanced features via JavaScript. Our goal is to provide equivalent functionality for users who are not able to use JavaScript and we are working hard to achieve this. This site does use a third party payment gateway which is reliant on JavaScript. You will need to enable JavaScript in your browser in order to complete your Christmas Food order.
We use a number of tools to perform automated accessibility tests, but this is just one aspect of our testing procedure. Being automated, these tools are not as reliable as expert evaluation. Pages are also tested in a variety of screen reading applications.
